JANSKÉ LÁZNĚ

Janské Lázně are situated at 519 meters above sea level and are the most important spa town in the Krkonoše Mountains.

Janské Lázně – a spa town with a rich history – lies at the foot of Černá hora (Black Mountain). Janské Lázně are especially famous for the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases.

The newly built ski resort “Černá hora,” with its most modern cable cars, lifts, and groomed cross-country trails, has established Janské Lázně as a top sports and recreational center.

Summit of Černá hora

The summit is connected to the town of Janské Lázně by a cable car. It serves as the starting point for unique hiking and cycling trails, approximately 5 km from the accommodation.

Most of these hiking, cycling, and in winter cross-country skiing trails pass near the Modrokamenná Bouda guesthouse, which is an important tourist spot in the Janské Lázně area.

Therefore, guests have the opportunity to start these trails directly from the guesthouse accommodation.

JANSKÉ LÁZNĚ AND CYCLING TOURISM

In addition to a number of classic cycling routes, Janské Lázně also offers the “1st Krkonoše Cycling Educational Trail.”
It is 16 km long and runs along forest paths of Černá hora and Světlá hora, near the Modrokamenná Bouda accommodation.
The route offers beautiful panoramas of the main Krkonoše ridge and Sněžka.
There is a possibility to store bicycles directly at Modrokamenná Bouda guesthouse accommodation – Janské Lázně.
